Enterprise Copyright & DMCA Policy

Doc Sansar is dedicated to fostering a collaborative academic ecosystem while strictly respecting global intellectual property laws. This Enterprise Copyright & DMCA Policy delineates our rights, the limitations of user-generated content, the proprietary nature of our virtual economy, and our procedural compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and India’s Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Intellectual Property (Platform, Source Code & Design)

All proprietary content, underlying source code, database architectures, AI models, UI/UX designs, and the Doc Sansar brand identity on DocSansar.com are the exclusive, legally protected property of Doc Sansar and its enterprise administration.

STRICTLY PROHIBITED ACTIONS:

  • Cloning/Mirroring: Copying, modifying, or reproducing the HTML structure, CSS frameworks, or distinct visual layout to create a derivative platform.
  • Automated Scraping: Utilizing bots, spiders, or machine-learning crawlers to harvest proprietary study materials, user data, or community feeds.
  • Asset Hotlinking: Directly linking to our server-hosted assets (PDFs, images) from external domains (constituting bandwidth theft).
  • Economy Tampering: Attempting to reverse-engineer or manipulate the scripts managing the DocTokens and Trust Points economy.

Violations of these enterprise boundaries will trigger immediate, aggressive legal countermeasures, including but not limited to cease-and-desist orders, ISP-level DMCA takedowns, and civil litigation for financial damages.

2. User-Generated Content & Safe Harbor

Doc Sansar operates as an educational intermediary. We provide a decentralized cloud platform for scholars to upload and share study resources. We do not claim ownership of user-uploaded files, nor do we possess the capacity to pre-screen every document for copyright adherence prior to publication.

Under the DMCA Safe Harbor framework and intermediary guidelines of the IT Act (India), Doc Sansar is immunized from liability for secondary copyright infringement, provided we act expeditiously to remove infringing material upon receipt of a legally compliant takedown notice.

3. Virtual Economy Ownership & Donations

The introduction of our Token Economy and Donation Portal is subject to strict proprietary rules:

  • Virtual Asset Ownership: "DocTokens," "Trust Points," and "Donor Badges" are proprietary digital licenses owned entirely by Doc Sansar. Users do not acquire any intellectual property rights over these virtual items, even if acquired via financial donation.
  • Reward Clawbacks: If a user uploads copyrighted material (e.g., a proprietary textbook) and earns DocTokens or Trust Points for that contribution, Doc Sansar reserves the absolute right to revoke and deduct those virtual rewards from the user's ledger upon the successful processing of a DMCA takedown against that file.
  • Donations Do Not Buy IP Rights: Making a financial contribution to Doc Sansar supports server infrastructure but grants the donor zero equity, copyright ownership, or intellectual property rights over the platform or its assets.

4. DMCA Takedown Procedure

If you are an authorized copyright owner (or their legal agent) and believe, in good faith, that content hosted on Doc Sansar infringes upon your exclusive rights, you must submit a formal notification containing all of the following statutory requirements:

  • Physical/Electronic Signature: The signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right.
  • Identification of Work: A precise description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
  • Location of Infringement: The exact URL(s) on Doc Sansar where the allegedly infringing material resides.
  • Contact Details: Address, telephone number, and official email address of the complaining party.
  • Good Faith Statement: A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement of Perjury: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Submit Official Takedown Notices to our Legal Department:

Email: support@docsansar.com
Subject Line: FORMAL DMCA TAKEDOWN REQUEST

*Valid, complete notices are typically processed within 24 to 48 business hours. The uploading user will be notified of the removal.

5. Counter-Notification

If you, the uploader, believe your content was removed erroneously (e.g., due to misidentification or fair use), you may submit a formal counter-notification. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material and its former URL, your contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Doc Sansar will forward it to the original claimant. If the claimant does not notify us within 10-14 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain your use of the material, Doc Sansar may, at its sole discretion, restore the content.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

In strict accordance with the DMCA, Doc Sansar enforces a "Repeat Infringer" policy. We maintain an internal ledger of copyright strikes. Users who repeatedly upload unauthorized proprietary material will have their accounts permanently terminated, their IP addresses blacklisted, and their DocToken balances seized.

7. Legal Disclaimer

Study materials, PYQs, and notes provided on Doc Sansar are aggregated by the community for academic and educational fair use. Doc Sansar is an independent tech enterprise and is not an official affiliate of SBTE, RGPV, BEU, or any private university or publication house, unless explicitly and formally stated.
